At the BD Center for Safety and Clinical Excellence you will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage in clinical simulations in true-to-life patient care areas
  • Gain hands-on experience with the latest technologies and tools
  • Meet with subject matter experts and BD leadership

In an ideal world, your medication use process would have zero errors and zero waste. The path to getting medications safely and efficiently to patients is not an easy one.  Administering medications safely and on time involves at least 30 steps between computerized physician order entry and barcode medication administration. These steps cross multiple departments and systems, and the complexity of the entire process results in a 45% risk of defect or error.

Join us on January 30, 2019 to learn how BD is helping to reduce this complexity, improve medication safety and close the communication gap between devices. Your visit will include a guided tour showcasing a patient-centric approach to medication management.
