He co-lead the teams to develop the world’s first wireless web platform for Vodafone and Verizon deployed in 27 countries and developed the specifications for the first custom internet car-ordering system for Honda. He has facilitated global summits for Sony corporation and a conference on managing Millennials for the Northern California Human Resource Association. For the past 12 years, he has coached and advised Eric Rodenbeck, CEO & Creative Director of Stamen Design, named by Fast Company as one of the 50 Top Innovative Companies in America and one of the Top 50 Designers in America. He has also been selected to coach the prestigious TED Fellows.

Coop is a contributor to Fast Company, Inc., Entrepreneur and Wired Innovations. He was the founding president of the International Association of Coaching, has served on the faculty of Sony leadership programs, CoachVille, Thomas Leonard School of Coaching and the Graduate School of Coaching. He completed coach training at Coach U, CoachVille and the School of Shadow Coaching. Rahul has extensive practical knowledge in regard to creating new, multi-stakeholder, collaborative business models as well as optimizing the use of effective next gen digital health solutions that create a simplified and positive consumer care experience. His role expands to include efforts on initiatives that have led to the creation of innovative care pathways, normalizing and sharing of data to build new and viable care measures, developing actionable and personalized programs and tools that ensure behavior change resulting in increased desired health outcomes. He continues to help develop, test, measure and iterate innovative platforms that increase efficiencies for all key stakeholders as they collectively focus on outcomes driven care.

Rahul’s most recent brainchild is the 26,000 sq ft AHIP Innovation Lab in Chicago’s West Loop. He is responsible for creating the Lab’s one of a kind concept, continues to fulfill its mission of delivering an invaluable resource for AHIP Membership and leads all of the Lab’s collaborative and confidential Solution Working Groups that involve individual payers, providers, manufacturers, MedTech, innovative solution providers and the AHIP Innovation Lab’s trusted and crucial Inaugural Partners.

Prior to joining AHIP, Rahul played a leadership role as a founding employee of a successful Digital Healthcare start-up based in Washington DC, WiserTogether. Along with WiserTogether’s Co-founders, Rahul was instrumental in developing their payer, provider and consumer focused platform as well as the company’s “go to market” strategy which resulted in successful market penetration for the industry’s first ever consumer-led shared decision making and treatment selection platform.

Dan began his medical career on the radiology faculty at The Johns Hopkins Hospital before working as an Associate with McKinsey & Company advising hospitals and health systems on post-ACA Strategy and Operations. He then joined the Executive Leadership Team at Evolent Health, where he served as the first Vice President of Clinical Transformation and helped grow revenues from $8M to over $118M en route to a successful IPO on the New York Stock Exchange.

Dan then served as the first Director of Accountable Care for Johns Hopkins before taking his current role as Chair of Radiology and Vice President of Clinical Strategy for LifeBridge Health System, where he has led the LifeBridge Health Clinically Integrated Network to become one of the most successful ACOs in the country.

Dan’s writing has appeared in top journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) and the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). He regularly lectures at national conferences on topics related to medical innovation and is the president of Durand Ventures, a healthcare consulting practice that also takes equity positions in select digital health start-ups.

His distinguished career spans innovative data science applications in implantable devices, artificial kidney irreversible thermodynamics, telemetry, biotechnology, infectious disease, oncology, immunology, precision medicine, child growth, and development and Global Health. Most recently, he was a senior program officer leading the Healthy Birth, Growth and Development knowledge integration (HBGDki) at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He also held data science positions at Amgen- as a senior scientist, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG- as Virology Disease Modeling Expert and Genentech- as Head of Modeling and Simulation.

Shasha’s North Star goal is an innovation-on-demand platform that fully capitalizes on rapidly evolving progress in materials science, electronic transducers, and information technologies to develop intelligent health platforms and democratize diagnostics.
